Our Suppliers

At Skô, we collaborate with a range of exceptional people—producers, farmers, artisans, architects and artists—who share our philosophy of quality and integrity. Here are some of them.

From the fields, waters and market

We source our fresh seasonal vegetables and potatoes from Pepa Buchal in Hall 22 just across the way. Our crisp pumpkin seeds and legumes come from the Slovak farm Poctivý cesnak. Your plate will also feature dairy delights from Orava Milk and honest Hiadlovec cheese from the Hiadlovský Farm, all accompanied by traditional unleavened Matzos from Zlaté Moravce, baked on a hundred-year-old machine. Freshwater fish come to us fresh from Pepa Kalenda of Chabrybárna and the family-owned Rybářství Štampach. From the orchards, vineyards and roasteries. Our premium meat, ham, and sausages are prepared for us by Amaso. Traditional aged cheeses made from cow's and sheep's milk are handcrafted for us by the small family cheese dairy Cheesio from Dolné Saliby, and juicy meat from free-range mangalica pigs comes from the organic Ekofarma Góra.

We source our natural wines and extra-virgin olive oil from our friends at Slobodné vinárstvo, and our refined fruit brandies are the work of Laco from Shake the Pear Distillery. Our offer is rounded out by traditional Moravian Navrátilova slivovica and the distinctive beetroot distillate from Apollo Nova. Our herbal tea is served with honey from Cera Mel, a family-run producer in the village where Tomáš’s parents live. To ease digestion after your meal, choose from Fatra and Tatranská mineral waters, or refresh yourself with Mellos honey cola. And whether paired with dessert or simply enjoyed on its own, our grinder is always filled with freshly roasted specialty coffee from BeBerry and Spojka Roastery Prešov.

Craft on the table and around it

The details surrounding the table lend the final touch to an exclusive experience. We pour your drinks into iconic crystal glass from RONA, the Slovak glassworks with a tradition dating back to 1892. Dishes are served on elegant, hand-turned wooden plates and bowls by Andrej Récky, and both the bar and restrooms are stocked with gentle natural Malinna cosmetics. You will sit on chairs by the Slovak brand Javorina, crafted with respect for wood and honest handiwork in the Levoča Mountains. Some of our dishes and drinks are served in traditional Modra majolica featuring custom patterns by Studio Najbrt, and our team looks after you in sustainably designed uniforms by designer Gréta Tribus, inspired by the clean cuts of traditional Slovak folk attire.
